The UConn School of Business Master's in Financial and Enterprise Risk Management (MSFERM) program is affiliated with the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and has an official University GARP Chapter.

GARP members represent over 5,000 different companies, including banks, asset management firms, insurers, academic institutions, government regulatory bodies, and other financial institutions. GARP now has over 100,000 members worldwide from more than 167 countries.

GARP Financial Risk Management (FRM®) Exam

Graduates of the UConn School of Business MSFERM Program will be prepared to take the GARP Financial Risk Management (FRM®) Exam.

GARP Career Center

Students can join GARP and as members have access to the GARP Career Center, the premier destination to find outstanding financial risk management jobs and the world’s best trained candidates. Serving the banking, finance, financial services, consulting, and risk management professions, the GARP Career Center is a premier job board that caters exclusively to the complexities of the risk management profession. The UConn School of Business MS in Financial and Enterprise Risk Management Program is also affiliated with the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute University Affiliation Program.

With more than 120,00 members the CFA Institute continues to build a strong global investment community with participants in the investment community, including regulators and legislators, universities and commercial organizations.

CFA Program Exam

Graduates of the UConn School of Business MSFERM Program will be prepared to take Level I and II CFA Program Exams.
